Music

Good morning from Colorado,

I was just out walking and I began thinking about something that stimulated me to carry on a 45-minute conversation with myself, as frequently happens on runs/walks.

I received my daily email message from “The Universe”, and it said: Some just hear the music their entire life long, Dave. It's playing right now.”

That seemed to be written directly for me, as my goal in life is to allow myself to hear the music all the time. When I don’t, it’s a block that I’ve created. I create noise or static that drowns out the music, until I can adjust my carburetor to get my engine running smoothly again.

Life is about energy, or vibration, although we can and do make subjective determinations about energy, everyday, and all the time.

I think we all know people whose energy is so over the top that they are disruptive, and conversely, we also know folks who are so low energy that they tend to draw energy away from us. We’re all wired differently, whether it is a matter of choice, free will, or directed by some natural abnormality. Living is a matter of adjusting.

There are certainly people who have always had an energetic flow that is positive, that can hear the “music”. Even for those people, there will be U-turns, forks in the road, ash from Icelandic volcanoes, two-feet of wet Colorado spring snow.

The Garmin that you can program to lead you to your destination is within you, and is filled with positive energy. Plug it in.

Maiden Voyage

Hello everyone, and welcome to my first post. I don't know where this will lead, but I think for me, most importantly, the process has begun. Hopefully as time goes on, this blog will provide me a place to learn, to teach, and to mull over with myself and others thoughts that come up.

Better said, it could simply be an exercise for me to intellectually stretch a bit, and perhaps most importantly, a spiritual stretch as well.

I think it's important for everyone to believe that each individual has small, perhaps imperceptible daily opportunities to positively impact others, which can build momentum. The world needs positive momentum right now it seems to me.

The only thing I can guarantee is that I'll attempt to write in full sentences, with minimal slang (as Sister Calista would demand), and that I'll be open, truthful, and peaceful in my writings.

Thanks for allowing me to vent, teach, and grow.
